Terms of Service

Last updated September 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By connecting a Solana wallet and using CRA Marketplace, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

CRA Marketplace is a web application that facilitates agreements between employers and workers using on-chain escrow. We are not a party to any contract between users.

2. Wallet as identity

Your wallet is your identity. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your private keys, seed phrases, and any credentials you use to sign transactions.

CRA never stores your private keys and cannot recover them. Transactions signed from your wallet are considered authorized by you.

You must not use a custodial, borrowed, or compromised wallet. You represent that you control the wallet you connect.

3. Non-custodial escrow

Funds escrowed for a contract live in program-derived escrow accounts on the Solana blockchain. CRA Marketplace never takes custody of user funds.

Escrowed USDC is released only in accordance with the escrow program's state transitions: proposed → active → submitted → approved (or disputed).

Once a payment is released on-chain it is final. We cannot reverse chain transactions.

4. User conduct

You agree not to use CRA Marketplace to:

Post fraudulent, infringing, or unlawful briefs or bounties; misrepresent deliverables; attempt to manipulate the escrow or dispute process; circumvent the platform to avoid fees; or violate applicable law.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe your activity violates these terms or the law.

5. Disputes

If a contract goes wrong, either party may open a dispute. An independent admin reviews the evidence submitted within the evidence window and issues a ruling.

Rulings may release escrow to the worker, return it to the employer, or split it. Both parties accept the outcome by using the service.

6. Fees

CRA Marketplace may charge platform fees on contracts and bounties. Any applicable fee is disclosed before you confirm a transaction.

You are responsible for Solana network transaction fees (priority fees and rent) associated with creating escrow accounts and releasing payments.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRA Marketplace and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from on-chain losses.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
